  I'm baaaaccckkk!

  I've missed Xanga so much! I didn't know that I would be gone that long but I was and I apologize. It seemed like when I left it was only supposed to be for such a short time but apparently not. Rest assured that it won't happen again. I'm back & better than ever, guarantee it.

  So, I bet you all want to know what's been going on for almost three years, right?I'm still trying to look for a steady job. I applied at Petsmart last week. Not the most glamorous job in the world but the pay is nice and so are the benefits. Only problem is I don't have "reliable" transportation so if I don't hear from them I'll know why. My lack of a car, sucks! I'm only six credits away from my A.S. degree. The problem there is lack of funds but hey, who hasn't been there especially when it comes to money. My Gran(mother) was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Diabetes since May 2007. It has been a struggle trying to get her to exercise, keep her from leaving the house and remembering to take her medicine but for the most part,she's hanging in there. She's a tough cookie and I know she'll overcome this so please keep her in your prayers. As for my relationship with Chavis, sadly, it's no more.Yep, after three years of bliss we...well, I decided to part ways with him. It really wasn't mutual but at the same time, it needed to happen. We just wasn't spending time together and this was the main reason why I decided to end things. It's not really fair to him so why should I subject him to that? So, for the time being, I'm single. *sigh* Maybe it's for the best though. Besides,I need to concentrate on other things, like my blog.

  Kelly Rowland is re-releasing her album with an all new cover and new tracks to go with it. Her first single "Work" & second single "Comeback" are two songs that will guarantee to get you moving on the dance floor. Please support Kelly on May 13th. Goodness knows she needs it....as well as a new record label.  Still holding out hope for that one.

  Usher's back! Can I get a Yeah?! Okay, yeah....   His first single "Love in this club" is already out. Usher's new album will be released either May 27th and it will feature guest appearances by Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, Beyonce' & Jay-Z and many more artists. For the "Grown and Sexy" in all of us. Will this album top "Confessions"? It's too early to tell but I can't wait to see what he has in store for us.

  Ashlee is back! She's coming out with her third solo cd "Bittersweet World" on April 22nd and her first single "Outta My Head(Ay Ya Ya) is already out and on the charts. It sounds a little like Madonna meets Gwen Stefani. Maybe that's why I love it so much because Gwen did that with "Wind Up." She brought a fresh sound and a weird video to it but she made it work and that's what Ash is doing. Her second single "Little Miss Obsessive" is already on "ITunes" go download it and be sure to check out her on Sunday as she performs that song @8:30pm on Nick. She will also be on Jay Leno on Monday, "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday & Ellen on Wednedsay.

  Whatever you choose to call her, don't forget to include Superstar because that's exactly what she is. MC is back and better than ever with her brand new album featuring her Number #1 single "Touch My Body" & her second single "ByeBye." Is it just me or does Mariah have a Diana Ross/Aretha Franklin look for this cover? Maybe it's just me I guess.... Go get the album it was released on Tuesday and critics are predicting 500K in the first week. If that's true, or even close to being true, wow!

  Danity Kane is clearly showing their counterparts Day 26 who the reigns supreme as far as MTB is concerned. They have appeared everywhere in support of their album "Welcome to the Dollhouse." Their hit single "Damaged" has blown up the charts and they are only getting stronger. If you haven't checked out the video(how can you NOT?) it's available everywhere so go look at it and while you're at it, go pick up the album too.
